In 2001, Mike Bowers founded, along with his wife Dana, iPay Technologies. iPay is the leading online bill payment provider in the United States serving 40 percent of the nation’s community financial institutions. During his tenure at iPay, Mike served as Chairman and CFO. iPay was sold to Jack Henry and Associates in June of 2010 for $300 million.

Mike Bowers is the Chairman and CFO of iPay Technologies, which he co-founded in 2001. iPay Technologies is the leading independent online bill pay provider in the United States serving half of the nations credit unions and nearly 40 percent of the nation’s community banks that provide bill pay.

Along with his wife Dana, Mike also co-founded Digital Compliance, a provider of custom compliance solutions for financial institutions and their vendors. He currently serves on the Digital Compliance board of directors.

Mike previously served in executive capacities with Netzee in Atlanta, GA. He was President and CEO of Dyad Corporation, a financial institution software and technology company. Other previous roles include work with Evans, Porter, Bryan & Co., First Tennessee Bank N.A., First City Bank of New Orleans, LA, and Union National Bank in Little Rock, AR.

Mike earned a bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance from Louisiana State University and has over 30 years of service in the banking industry. Mike serves as a board member for the Elizabethtown/Hardin County Industrial Foundation.

Together, Mike and Dana support The 216 Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to research and finding a cure for diabetes; The Hazelden Foundation and the Alzheimer’s Association.
